At Internorga 2025 from 14 to 18 March, WMF Professional Coffee Machines will showcase its award-winning semi-automatic portafilter machine, WMF espresso NEXT.
Throughout the event in Hamburg, Germany, the company will host a series of daily latte art and barista workshops where trade visitors can learn key techniques and explore the capabilities of the WMF espresso NEXT.
Additionally, a Latte Art Challenge will allow participants to showcase their designs for a chance to win prizes, while a tasting of international signature drinks is designed to demonstrate the versatility of WMF coffee machines.
“Our goal is for visitors to leave with practical ideas and inspiration for their own businesses,” says Axel Fähnle, Head of Marketing at WMF Professional Coffee Machines.
Other key highlights at the event will include the WMF MultiMilk and WMF 2-Milk-Solution, which are designed to simplify the use of milk alternatives such as oat, soy, almond, and coconut.
German Latte Art Champion Daniel Gerlach will also be on hand to provide insights into the evolving needs of the coffee industry. With increasing staff shortages and rising customer expectations for variety and quality, Gerlach believes that machines such as the WMF espresso NEXT can offer significant support. Since early 2024, he has served as the official brand ambassador for the semi-automatic portafilter machine, sharing his expertise with the coffee community.
“The user-friendliness of the WMF espresso NEXT is one of its key advantages. I can demonstrate the machine without needing extensive explanations – unlike a traditional portafilter,” says Gerlach.
“It offers the best of both worlds: traditional portafilter operation combined with automated processes. This makes it easier for new staff to use and helps experienced baristas work more efficiently, especially during peak hours.”
