Host Milano 2023 has revealed the 26 projects selected for the Smart Label Host Innovation Award for 2023.
Five applications were awarded the Innovation Smart Label, which identifies products with high innovation content featuring a breakthrough in established trends.
Among these products was the Latte Art Factory Bar Pro, in the coffee machines and vending sectors, as well as the Minipresso NS2 from Wacaco Company.
Six Green Smart Label awards were assigned to submissions with distinctive eco-friendly features.
The remaining 15 products were awarded the traditional Smart Label, dedicated to products with particularly unique innovative content.
Franke’s Mytico line is among those chosen for product performance, while the Eagle Tempo from Simonelli Group was chosen for functional efficiency.
The projects were chosen out of 157 submissions from around the world by an independent international jury.
The jurors’ scoring showed that 40 per cent of the applications focused on the technological aspect of their machines, while more than 23 per cent focused on sustainability.
Eleven per cent of applications presented an innovative user interface, while nine per cent proposed efficient energy-saving solutions.
The winners’ announcement ceremony will take place at Host Milano on Friday 13 October at 5pm local time with access through Hall 6/10.
