I was asked recently about the reasoning behind me not using the Barista Hustle cupping bowls. Well, it’s because I’m heavy handed! The Barista Hustle bowls have a great design – balanced, do not smash when dropped, hold temperature well and have a nice open mouth for good aromatics. However, I cannot get along with them. I always bump, push and then splash the contents whenever I use them. This isn’t good for keeping each bowls agitation consistent across the table.
My go-to cupping vessels is my trusty glass cups. I have lots of them (so it doesn’t matter if I break them) and most importantly, I very rarely ‘accidentally’ knock them.
And there you have it. Why I don’t use the Barista Hustle cupping bowls.
