The day was Dec 3, the year 1984, Wham! led from the front by George Michael, released Last Christmas. I was an 11 year old lad growing up in the tumultuous Calcutta of the 80’s.
*Trivia – George Michael donated all royalties from Last Christmas to aid the Ethiopian famine relief effort.
Fast forward four decades, I find myself making coffee on a crisp Sunday morning. As cliché as it may be, where did the years go. Like our friend once sang, I remember every man who put me where. I shall be released!
