Making third wave specialty coffee is made possible by the 4 keys formula that is found inside every Breville machine. However, in order to achieve exceptional full-bodied coffee from the comfort of your own home, you need to know how to set up your machine to create your favorite coffee.
Directions (01:12):
1. Start by washing all the parts and accessories, drying them thoroughly.
2. Soak the filter in water for 5 minutes. After it has been soaked, put the filter into the filter holder and set the ‘Dial reminder date’.
3. Fit the filter to the bottom of the tank and fill the tank up with cold water.
5. Insert the water tank back into the machine.
6. Fit the bean hopper to the top of the machine, locking into place and fill with your fresh coffee beans.
7. Choose the right filter basket for the coffee you’re making: either 1-cup or 2-cup. There are also single and double wall filter baskets with your machine: use the single wall filter basket when your beans are at their peak (between 5 and 30 days) and use the double wall basket if your beans are older than 30 days.
8. Press the ‘Power’ button to swtich the machine on. When the machine has reached the correct operating temperature, the ‘Power’ button light will stop flashing and all buttons on your control panel will illuminate.
