January 1st is a guaranteed day of the year our coffee shop is closed.
Today I spent it alone in the shop. Making my personal drink. Taking down the Christmas decor. Walking through the space before resetting it for a new season. A new year.
Owning a small cafe means living life in chapters. Some loud and full. Some quiet and reflective. This video is about slowing down long enough to acknowledge the season that just passed and making room for what is next.
I have been away from uploading for a while, not because I stopped loving this space or sharing this journey, but because life required my full attention elsewhere. I explain more at the end.
