#Ingredients
– 1 cup water
– (2 tsp coffee powder (filter coffee or instant)-optional if needed only)
– 1/4 tsp dry ginger powder (Chukku)
– 1/4 tsp coriander seeds powder (Kothamalli podi or Malli) if whole 3 teaspoons
– 1/4 tsp cumin seeds powder (Cheeraham) if whole 1 teaspoon
– 1/4 tsp black pepper powder -if needed little 3
– 3 -4 cloves (Krambu)
– 1/2 tsp grated ginger (optional)
– 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder or 3 small pieces (Pattai)
-cardamom 2 optional
– Sugar or jaggery (optional) as needed
## Instructions
1. * In a saucepan, add whole Malli or for better results crack it a little then fry it in low flame till you hear cracking sound then *: Add Chukku, Cheeraham, Krambu, and Pattai. Then add Water& jaggery – boil it for 5 minutes. Filter it and drink it.
Other version using powdered ingredients:
. *Add Spices*: Add Chukku, Malli, Cheeraham, Krambu, and Pattai powders to the boiling water. Stir well.
. *Add Coffee Powder*: If using filter coffee, add the powder to the boiling mixture. If using instant coffee, add the powder directly.
*Add Sugar or Jaggery*: If desired, add sugar or jaggery to taste.
*Simmer*: Reduce heat and simmer the mixture for 2-3 minutes or until the flavors meld together.
*Strain and Serve*: Strain the coffee into a cup using a fine-mesh sieve or a traditional South Indian coffee filter. Serve hot.
