Ai Baristas WILL take your jobs

You might hate what I have to say here but it’s something we need to address sooner rather than later.
You can disagree with me all you like but as I have owned many different cafes, restaurants, espresso bars & roasteries, I can tell you from my experience that many barista jobs are not going to be needed soon.
I don’t know about where you live, but in Australia, being a barista is almost a rite of passage for young adults. Just about every single person in Australia has been behind a bar at some point in their life, maybe they were slinging whiskey and beers instead but many have had to make a coffee or two and we all know how important that job was to bring in the bucks while you figured out what else you might be doing with your life. Some people, like me, got stuck in the coffee (that’s a good thing btw) and if I was being replaced by robots I’d want to know how I can fix that.
AI robots are becoming more and more popular and so it was only a matter of time before they set their beedy little robot eyes on the coffee industry.
Here’s my thoughts on what you can do.
As Always, #enjoyyourbrew

About me:
I am super passionate about coffee and educating people on all aspects of this amazing drink. I love bringing the stories back from the other side of the world about how they grow and process the coffee differently on each farm, in each region, and in each country. I also love helping baristas around the world make better coffee for themselves, whether they’re at home, professional, competitors or even just venturing out into the wide world of coffee.
