Veneziano Coffee Roasters has launched its new Cold Brew in-a-can line-up, consisting of four dairy-free drinks.
They consist of existing flavours Straight Up, featuring a new and improved recipe that is now preservative and additive free; and Oat Latte using Veneziano’s Elevate blend mixed with oat milk for a “creamy, slightly sweet latte” taste.
New flavours include Chai Latte, paired with oat milk for a “spicy, subtly sweet, and low caffeine” profile; and Neapolitan, inspired from Neapolitan ice-cream featuring a balance of strawberry and chocolate notes in oat latte. Veneziano says the result is a “smooth, rich cold brew that will take you back to summer as a kid”.
“When developing the range, we wanted to have options that reflected café style offerings. Neapolitan is for those wanting a decadent treat and the Oat Chai is for non-coffee drinkers,” says Veneziano Head of Coffee Pete Licata.
“We also thought it was important to make the range dairy-free. Oat milk is our alterative milk of choice to pair with coffee, not only does it taste great with coffee, but it caters to a growing trend to reduce dairy consumption.”
Veneziano collaborated with its new cold brew partner in New Zealand, New Ground, to brew and can the 250-millilitre products.
