Westrock Coffee has significantly expanded its production capacity with the opening of a new 525,000-square-foot production facility in Conway, Arkansas.
The ‘Clark’ facility will focus on manufacturing single-serve coffee products to meet continuing rising global demand. The international coffee pods market was valued at US$35.3 billion in 2024 and is projected to more than double to be worth US$71.2 billion by 2034.
More than 130,000 square feet of the facility will be dedicated to single-serve coffee manufacturing, with the remainder to support fulfilment and distribution. There is potential for the new facility to expand into additional product formats in the future.
“The single-serve category is evolving rapidly and we are scaling our operations to meet our customers’ needs,” says CEO Scott Ford.
“This expansive new facility significantly enhances our capabilities in the United States (US) market.”
The new Clark facility is the second production site Westrock in Conway, following the unveiling of a first facility in 2024. In addition to the company’s original production facility in North Little Rock and its headquarters in Little Rock, the company says it is positioning Arkansas as a hub for coffee and beverage manufacturing.
When both new facilities reach full capacity, they are expected to employ 900 people.
“We are excited about the opportunities it will create for our existing customers, employees, and the local community here in central Arkansas,” says Ford.
Westrock Coffee holds offices in more than 10 countries and sources coffee and tea from 35 origin countries. It is one of North America’s top manufacturers of private label coffee and tea.
