Schaerer has announced the launch of its Twin Milk system, a new addition to its Schaerer Coffee Skye automated coffee machine.

The fully automatic milk system has two separate cooling units, which can deliver two dairy milks or milk alternatives side by side. Integrated with its existing Pure Foam milk system, the Schaerer Coffee Skye can prepare hot and cold milk or alternatives, as well as textured milk foam.

To produce milk foam, the automated machine is equipped with two different steam wands: Supersteam and Powersteam.

Supersteam offers a high level of automation and can store the temperature and foam consistency of a beverage in its system for future use. It automatically begins the foaming process when the display screen is touched and stops when the desired milk result is achieved. In the case that manual milk foaming is required, the Powersteam wand is also available.

In developing the Pure Foam system, the team at Schaerer focused on reducing water waste by minimising internal volume, resulting in a reduced requirement of water for rinsing and cleaning inside the machine.

To meet café owners’ storage needs, the company has designed two versions of the system to accommodate every type of café environment: a side cooling unit with two 4.5-litre containers and an under-counter cooling unit with two 10-litre containers.

Founded in 1892 and headquartered in Zuchwil, Switzerland, Schaerer is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fully automated professional coffee machines with a global pool of customers.
