Nestlé has announced that Greg Behar will leave the role as CEO of Nestlé Health Science after nine years at the end of 2023 to pursue new professional interests outside the company.
Anna Mohl, who currently serves as the Head of International Business at Nestlé Health Science, has been appointed by the Nestlé Board of Directors as the next CEO Health Science and as Executive VP and member of the Executive Board of Nestlé, effective 1 January 2024.
“On behalf of our Board of Directors and Executive Board, I would like to recognise Greg’s work in shaping and expanding Nestlé Health Science,” says Nestlé CEO Mark Schneider. “At the same time, we are thrilled to announce Anna Mohl as the next CEO of Nestlé Health Science.”
Mohl has worked with Nestlé for over 20 years, starting with marketing and innovation roles at the company’s American infant nutrition business Gerber.
“Anna brings a deep understanding of nutrition and health with a strong focus on consumers and patients around the world,” says Schneider. “She is an inspirational leader with a stellar track record who is ideally positioned to drive the growth and profitability of this business.”
Mohl joined Nestlé Health Science at its inception in 2010, where she led U.S. Medical Nutrition marketing and Medical Nutrition sales.
Behar helped establish Nestlé Health Science as a leader in nutritional health solutions, growing the company’s portfolio to capture attractive long-term trends and expanding into new geographic regions.
The Nestlé Board of Directors has also promoted David Rennie, who currently served as Head of Nestlé Coffee Brands, to Executive VP effective 1 January.
