Melitta Professional will exhibit for the first time at World of Coffee in Copenhagen from 27 to 29 June.

“There are two special reasons for our participation as an exhibitor this year,” says Stefanie Heidemann, Manager Training at Melitta Professional. “In addition to our proximity to our neighbouring country Denmark, this is the broader perspective on coffee machines. The Latte Art World Championship will be held in Copenhagen for the first time on a fully automatic machine. We are happy to take advantage of this attention and invite the international community of coffee enthusiasts and professionals to explore the options of preparation at the touch of a button with us.”

Event guests are invited to experience Melitta’s stand at Booth DE-011 where it will highlight the ease of various preparation of coffee drinks – espresso-based, filter and nitro coffee – via a fully automatic machine.

Michal Ziemlewicz from Melitta Professional Poland will also bring excellent cocktail expertise to Denmark. The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) certified barista and long-time coffee expert was Polish runner-up in the 2019 Coffee in Goods Spirits Championship.

In Copenhagen, visitors will be able to discover how automation in coffee preparation can be an excellent way to expand the beverage portfolio and at the same time gain time for communication with guests. They can see specialty coffees are prepared differently on one machine, process fresh milk and plant-based alternatives, dose precisely, and variable foam texture and temperature.

The new CT8plus fully automatic coffee machine and the XT7 fully automatic machine as a 2-step version with the Steam Control plus foam lance for manual latte art from the barista jug will be used. With four grinders, the CT8plus can process four types of beans in parallel, use four different types of milk or milk alternatives with two separate milk systems, and prepare filter coffee from freshly ground beans using an alternative brewing process.

Booth manager Robin Franke, Chief Product & Solutions Officer at Melitta Professional, will also receive support in Copenhagen from the Research and Development team in Minden, where Melitta Professional develops and produces its professional coffee machines.

“We are looking forward to looking a little into the future together with our guests. What will be possible and helpful with fully automatic machines in the future,” says Franke.
