Coffee machine company La Marzocco will once again partner with CafesSmart this August, marking its tenth consecutive year sponsoring the annual campaign.

To celebrate the collaboration, La Marzocco is hosting an event on 10 August at its Melbourne showroom on Nicholson Street, Abbottsford. The venue will be transformed into a café where other sponsors, including Golden Brown, Project Zero CoffeeKeepCup, and Stefanino Panino, will also be present.

Throughout the day, KeepCup will be offering the first 150 customers a coffee served in its brand-new cup for $10, while Golden Brown will be giving attendees the opportunity to win a La Marzocco Linea Micra espresso machine.

As part of its partnership, La Marzocco has revealed it is matching the first $5000 donated to CafeSmart in an aim to double the impact of donations made this year.

Since the café-based campaign was established, CafeSmart has aimed to bring the Australian coffee industry together to raise funds and awareness for local grassroots homelessness projects.

According to the organisation, there has been a surge in homelessness in the past year. In its commitment to raising awareness over the past 14 years, it has distributed nearly $2 million to over 1000 community projects across the country.
