Klatch Coffee releases ready-to-use espresso concentrate

United States roaster Klatch Coffee has introduced Ready-To-Go Espresso, a ready-to-use espresso concentrate.

The concentrate can be used to make café-style beverages without the time needed for brewing.

“Our focus will continue to be on fresh-roasted coffee, but we also recognise the need to be present in this exciting, growing category,” says Heather Perry, Klatch Coffee CEO.

“Ready-to-use products give consumers the freedom to customise their coffee experience, in a very time-efficient manner. We’re excited to bring high-quality specialty coffee to this format with Ready-To-Go Espresso.”

Ready-To-Go Espresso is available in 8-fluid ounces (237-millilitres) packages online and at Klatch Coffee’s Southern California café locations.

The 8-fluid ounce bottle contains 16 one-tablespoon servings. The bottled espresso concentrate can be used to prepare both hot and cold beverages by adding one to two tablespoons of concentrate to a base of 7-ounces (207-millilitres) of water or milk, then adding sweeteners or flavourings to taste.

Each bottle also includes a card with recipes for espresso tonics, espresso martinis, flavoured lattes, and an espresso old fashioned.

Ready-To-Go Espresso is shelf stable, and doesn’t require refrigeration until after it is opened.
