Canadian roaster Kicking Horse Coffee has partnered with Keurig to launch its first K-Cup range, which will be partnered by a new advertisement campaign.

As a supporter of Fairtrade coffee production and fair compensation, Kicking Horse Coffee’s K-Cup range aims to bring organic blends to more customers across North America. The K-Cups range will feature three roast: Kick Ass (dark), Three Sisters (medium), and Happy Camper (light), which have been created to emulate the drinking experience of a traditional pour-over in a more convenient consumption format.

Accompanying the K-Cup range is new brand campaign Kickstart Your Heart. The campaign aims to appeal to the bold and fearless values that the roastery operates. Set to heavy metal band Motley Crue’s famous Kickstart My Heart song, the campaign will reflect the energising and empowering effect coffee has on its drinkers.

Kicking Horse Coffee Chief Marketing Officer Lori Hatcher-Hillier effectively summarises this experience: “Coffee is the conduit to getting s*** done every day.”

Founded in Invermere, British Columbia, the brand says it is committed to empowering farmers and ensuring every cup tells a story of integrity and grit. Through Fairtrade partnerships, it aims to support coffee producers by facilitating fair compensation, which helps invest in their communities and improve livelihoods through access to education, healthcare, and sustainable practices.
