Café and wine bar Intermission is celebrating International Coffee Day on 1 October with a week’s worth of coffee-fuelled delights created by the Master Barista team of dedicated coffee experts.
Inspired by the espresso bars of the 1950s, Intermission is located in the lobby of Le Méridien Melbourne and designed as an ideal place to pause and savour the moment.
Customers can get their morning caffeine fix with Intermission’s Morning ‘Happy Hour’. From 7am to 10am receive two for one coffees for $4 before grabbing an Intermission Coffee Card and collecting two stamps instead of one (every eighth coffee is free).
Visitors can also indulge in a Signature Affogato where Axil Coffee’s espresso meets Le Scoop, Le Méridien’s signature artisanal gelato, for $11. When purchasing Intermission’s Signature Affogato, children will receive a complimentary ‘tiny’ Le Scoop cone. Consumers can also grab a coffee-flavoured serve of Le Scoop, crafted from local ingredients, for $6 and get another one free.
For an after-work refuel, embrace the Evening ‘Happy Hour’ from 5pm to 7pm with two for one espresso martinis for $24.
Those who visit Intermission from 24 September to 1 October will go in the draw to win a one-night stay at Le Méridien. When purchasing a coffee, follow @lemeridienmelbourne on Instagram, and scan the QR code at Intermission to subscribe to e-newsletters to enter the draw.
