Campos Coffee launches premium geisha coffee

Australian coffee company Campos Coffee has announced a limited-release batch of ultra-premium coffee, Elida Estate, in partnership with Panama producers Wilford Lamastus Junior and Wilford Lamastus Senior of Lamastus Family Estates.

The Elida Estate batch is a geisha varietal, known for its floral and exotic flavour profile. Produced using a signature Lamastus process called natural anaerobic slow-dried, Campos Coffee says its new Elida Estate release will offer layers of depth and complexity.

Curated by Campos Coffee Green Bean Buyer Lloyd Thom, the limited-edition release upholds the Lamastus Family’s commitment to quality and consistency.

“The consistency from year to year is always impressive. Not everyone can do that and that’s why we’ve been working with them for over 10 years,” says Lloyd.

The Elida Estate farm is shaded, bird-friendly, and located at a high elevation, in a microclimate with very low temperatures. The coffee trees are surrounded by the Volcan Baru National Park, a virgin native cloudy rainforest, with these growth conditions contributing to the distinctive flavour profiles of the geisha.

The Panama Elida Estate Geisha Coffee is available for $65 in 50 grams for pre-sale until 11 February. It will be roasted on 12 February and dispatched from 13 February.
