BioPak has launched a new version of its Leaf cup, originally launched in 2006, as part of its nature series in partnership with Rainforest Rescue.
Ahead of World Rainforest Day on 22 June, BioPak has unveiled a new Leaf nature series to celebrate and raise awareness of some of Australia’s most unique and diverse plants.
Featuring designs that encompass the diversity of the trees planted to rehabilitate biodiverse areas, the cup comes in three distinct leaf designs including the Ylang Ylang, Bleeding Heart, and Flame Tree.
“We are truly proud to bring this concept to life and celebrate and raise awareness of the precious plants and ecosystems that exist on our great planet,” says BioPak CEO Gary Smith.
“The Leaf BioCup was designed nearly two decades ago, and it is wonderful to see this new adaptation continue the legacy of our sustainable ethos. At BioPak, a core part of our purpose and ‘why’ is underpinned by community, and we are delighted to collaborate with Rainforest Rescue as part of this project to help share our commitment to the planet with coffee lovers across Australia.”
In collaboration with Rainforest Rescue, the new nature series from BioPak aims to not only showcase the beauty of nature but also emphasise the positive impact of reforestation efforts on restoring ecological balance.

Since 2012, BioPak has continued to donate 1 per cent of its profits to Rainforest Rescue. The donations have helped secure, rescue, and replant land in the Daintree Rainforest in Australia, helping to protect the various flora and fauna that inhabit the biodiverse ecosystem.
