American brand Atomo Coffee, known for its bean-less coffee, has launched its range in the United Kingdom, debuting at a concept bar.
Café goers can now experience Atomo’s bean-less espresso at Hagen’s concept bar on North Audley Street in Mayfair, London.
The Seattle startup crafts its coffee from farm-sourced, superfoods, and upcycled ingredients such as date seeds, ramon seeds, and green banana. The coffee is said to deliver the rich and complex flavours of traditional coffee without the beans or sacrificing on taste.
“Hagen’s new location is the perfect setting to introduce our coffee to Londoners,” says Andy Kleitsch, CEO of Atomo Coffee.
“Atomo is committed to redefining what coffee can be. We deliver a great tasting coffee while reducing the environmental impact of traditional coffee farming. This partnership allows us to highlight the future of sustainable coffee in a space that celebrates both innovation and craftsmanship.”
Hagen Espresso Bar Owner Tim Schroeder adds that partnering with Atomo allows the bar to showcase an entirely new way of thinking about coffee – one that’s rooted in sustainability, creativity, and taste.
“We’re excited to introduce this groundbreaking concept to the UK and look forward to seeing how it inspires the industry and our community,” he says.
Beyond Hagen’s concept bar, Atomo Coffee is now available in over 73 cafés worldwide, with plans for continued global expansion. In August 2024, the company partnered with Bluestone Lane to introduce its bean-less coffee at all 58 locations across the US. In September 2024, Atomo Coffee made its first international expansion by launching in Japan.
