Indonesian specialty coffee brand Expat. Roasters has announced the opening of its sixth store, located at Hokky Buah Citraland in Surabaya.
The Hokky Buah store is the latest step in Expat. Roasters’ ambitious 2024 plans for continued national expansion. The store aims to pair the grocery shopping experience with premium coffee, featuring own-roasted single origins such as Bali Kintamani and West Java alongside its blends which include Patria, Nomad, Habitat, Jozo, and Terra.
“We’re thrilled to continue our growth in Surabaya with the opening of our third store in this vibrant city,” says Shae Macnamara, Founder and CEO of Expat. Roasters.
“Our mission remains the same: providing high-quality coffee experiences for everyone, whether they’re shopping, commuting, or just enjoying a moment to themselves. Hokky Buah Citraland is an exciting new addition to our growing family of stores, and we’re proud to bring our passion for coffee to more people across Indonesia.”
In addition to offering premium coffee and a range of café food, Expat. Roasters’ Hokky Buah location features a dedicated kids corner, welcoming a wider customer base by catering to the needs of children through a variety of games and activities while their guardians can enjoy the coffee on offer.
In October 2024, the specialty group will open another store in East Surabaya, followed by locations at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport in November, and in Medan and Makassar towards the end of the year.
“Opening our Hokky Buah Citraland store is another exciting chapter in our expansion story,” says Yande Wirawan, Head of Training and Brand Ambassador of Expat. Roasters.
“We’re committed to delivering our premium coffee experience to more people across Indonesia, and this new location is a perfect fit for us. With several more stores opening soon, we’re looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring.”
Existing Expat. Roasters locations include two stores in Bali (Jalan Petitengent and Beachwalk Shopping Mall), two in Surabaya (Graha Family in West Surabaya and Juanda International Airport), and one in Jakarta (Mori Building in Sudirman, Central Jakarta).
