On 27 August, California-based coffee roaster Blue Bottle Coffee will open a pop-up store in Singapore, marking its debut in the Southeast Asian country.
The announcement comes as part of a collaboration with Japanese retailer Lumine. The pop-up Blue Bottle venue will be a limited-edition to the brand’s flagship store in Raffles City Shopping Centre.
The pop-up shop will stock a number of Blue Bottle’s hero products, including its instant coffee and premium matcha products. Customers will also have the opportunity to purchase its craft instant espresso, the brand’s New Orleans-Style coffee blend. A variety of drinkware and accessories will be available, including a reversible tote bag created exclusively for the Singapore launch.
From 31 August, visitors to the store will also have the chance to enjoy an exhibition detailing the brand’s journey over the past 20 years. The display will highlight important moments in the company’s history – from its California Bay Area beginnings to its expansion into the Japanese market. It will also showcase Blue Bottle’s evolution in the development of its craft instant coffee.
In its commitment to expanding the business on a global level, Blue Bottle Coffee’s pop-up marks a first step in the retailer’s broader plans for the Singapore market. The chain currently has a series or venues located in both the United States and Asia.
