We’re just under three weeks away from the start of Coffee Fest Los Angeles, and what’s a coffee event without a kick-off party? That’s why Califia Farms is making sure things get started right. The LA Coffee Fest Kick Off Party is set to be a night of music, food, drinks, giveaways, and a latte art throwdown with big cash prizes.
Taking place at their DTLA Arts District headquarters on Saturday, August 24th, Califia Farms is welcoming in all in-town and out-of-town guests to blow off a little steam/gear up for a steamy weekend. DJ Anthony Valadez will be there to set the mood while folks mingle and partake in the drinks and small bites provided by Califia. There will also be a natural tie-dye pop-up featuring pieces by the sustainability-minded clothing maker East/West Shop.
The main attraction for the night is of course the latte art throwdown. The head-to-head bracket-style tournament will pit latte arteests from around the country against one another for the chance of taking home some serious cash. Third place will walk away with a cool $250, second gets $500. And for the winner, how does and even $1,000 sound? It’s got a nice ring to it. Not a bad way to start the weekend.
The LA Coffee Fest Kick Off Party is completely free to attend, though reservations are required—they can be made here—to ensure there is space for all. It all goes down Saturday, August 24th between 6:30pm and 10:30pm at Califia’s DTLA headquarters at 1019 East 4th Place.
