Australian roaster Grinders Coffee has launched new blend Classico, the latest addition to its Café Q range.

The new blend follows the success of the company’s Cremello and Darkoko coffees, which were first launched as part of the range in 2023.

“Classico represents a perfect harmony of boldness and balance, crafted to deliver a premium café-quality experience in the comfort of your home,” says Grinders Coffee Marketing Manager Burcu De La Cruz.

According to the team at Grinders Coffee, the Classico blend is best paired with milk or as a standalone black coffee thanks to its notes of almond, milk chocolate, and caramel. They also highlight its molasses and dark cocoa aftertaste.

Darkoko was the company’s first dark roast for retail. It is made of a strong and intense five-origin blend of Brazil Santos, Papua New Guinea, Costa Rica HGA, Mexico HG, and Indian Robusta beans. It delivers notes of dark cocoa and dried fruit with a nutty, malty aftertaste.

Cremello is a mild, smooth, and balanced three-origin blend of Brazil Santos, Papua New Guinea AX, and Mexico HG beans. It is described as well-rounded and versatile with notes of velvety milk chocolate and caramel with a nutty, honeycomb aftertaste. Cremello is roasted for optimal sweetness and complexity as a black coffee, producing a smooth and balanced cup.

Grinder’s Coffee attributes the success of the range not only to the coffee blends but also its vibrant packaging and design, which it believes appeals to millennials looking to combine aesthetics and quality in their daily brew.

Founded on Lygon street, Melbourne, the company aims to bring its diverse range of coffee blends to cafés, restaurants, and leading retailers across Australia.
