Struggling to get the best out of your coffee with your Sage Barista Pro?

Fed up of wasting beans when trying to dial in a new espresso?

We’re here to help!

In this video, we show you how to dial in a coffee on your Sage Barista Pro machine. We are using our Colombian Jazz coffee beans (https://ironandfire.co.uk/colombian-jazz-speciality-coffee-beans-fresh-roasted-single-origin-smooth-sweet-fruity/) for this espresso.

You can also find a detailed description for this process on our blog: https://ironandfire.co.uk/2024/02/15/dialling-in-a-sage-barista-pro/

Dialling in is a crucial step that allows you to adjust the grind size, dose, and extraction time to achieve the best flavour and crema from your coffee beans.

You need to dial in your Sage coffee machine every time you change the type of beans, as different roasts and origins will require different settings. However, if you use the same beans consistently, you may only need to do this whenever you notice a change in the taste or appearance of your espresso. As the beans age, you will want to take the grind a little finer.
