First in a hopefully a long series of giveaway furniture pieces that I’m calling “Give-it-away-now!” This live edge epoxy/resin coffee table highlights the natural split in the walnut with black epoxy and is cut into an ellipse, with a double bowtie/Dutchman inlay. This table can be yours if you follow the instructions I outline in the video!

Some notes on the dimensions: The top is roughly 44” long by 26” wide, and sits at about 17” tall on a pair of trapezoid legs made from red oak and are dyed black.

The finish I used was two coats of Osmo Polyx in Satin:
Woodcraft – https://www.woodcraft.com/products/osmo-polyx-oil-solvent-based?variant=43405693943946
Rockler – https://www.rockler.com/osmo-polyx-oil-clear-satin-3043-0-75l

The epoxy I used was Thickset Fathom by @TotalBoat

This is your chance to get an epoxy river table for significantly cheaper than you could by any other sole craftsman. The melamine form, the walnut, all the other bits and bobs I’m counting at $0, and also not charging anything for labor. Plus, I’ll deliver and assemble it personally, mainly because I want to meet my audience in person.

Big thank you to Steve and Jeremy at Deines Custom Door for the use of their industrial drum sander, check them out here:

Obviously, a huge thanks to @BlacktailStudio for loads of info throughout the last couple years on how to build these types of tables… and for being an epoxy “Grandmaster.”
