Allpress Espresso has announced the release of a limited-edition single origin, the Costa Rica Hacienda Sonora.
Sourced from the Chirripo-Brunca region in San Jeronimo, this coffee is grown, harvested, and processed on the Sonora farm, which has been owned by the Guardia family for over a century.
This natural-processed lot results in a sweet and creamy filter or complex espresso with tasting notes of pineapple, mango, and brown sugar. The coffee is grown at an altitude of 1450 to 1850 metres and uses an alternative coffee processing method by farmer Alberto Guardia.
“This coffee caught our eye with its exceptional quality and bright summer flavours. We’re stoked to be able to offer it to our café partners and coffee drinkers, and we can’t wait for them to experience it,” says Allpress Espresso Head Roaster Arch Giotopoulos.
Allpress Espresso has also partnered with StrangeLove beverage company to create the Costa Rica Cold Brew Soda. An evolution of its initial Festive Blend Tonic partnership, this brew combines the Costa Rica Hacienda Sonora with StrangeLove’s Pear and Cinnamon Soda for an innovative flavour experience of jubes lollies and pear flavour notes.
