Coffee machine manufacturer Rancilio Group has announced it will attend the Journey in Italy symposium on 16 November at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The company will promote the benefits of coffee prepared in the Italian tradition at the symposium, titled ‘The Taste of Sustainable Well-Being: A Dialogue between the Mediterranean Diet in dialogue with traditional African and Chinese Cuisines.’
The Rancilio Speciality RS1 professional multi-boiler espresso machine, the Rancilio Kryo Evo 65 OD on-demand grinder, and Lavazza will be the spokespeople for how coffee reduces risks related to mortality and cardiovascular diseases.
The conference will also discuss the physical and mental health benefits of the Mediterranean diet and cover sustainability and regeneration, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The full program of Journey in Italy is divided into twelve sessions between 14 and 18 November 2023 in 11 cities around the world. It is intended as a place for discussion and cultural exchange on the principles of the Mediterranean diet, and how it can be harmoniously reflected in different cultural cuisines.
The symposium is sponsored by the United Nations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other major international institutions.
