We’re here at the World of Coffee Copenhagen in the spacious Bella Center. Deep in Hall D, the final rounds of the World Coffee Championship’s latte art and cocktail competitions are taking place—and in a few short hours we’ll have new world champions. Who will it be? Only time will tell.
The 2024 World Latte Art Championship’s finalists are taking the stage to pour for their lives—follow along as we cover it all!

Elly (Jiyu Lee) (She/Her) ONEWAY Training Center, South Korea
First up is Elly (Jiyu Lee) of ONEWAY Training Center in South Korea. Elly’s final round features two free-pour lattes “Flying Pig” and “(Winnie the Pooh) Eeyore” and her designer (etched) latte art “Goofy Face” is an homage to the Disney character using a black dye.
Sarawut Manngan (He/Him) CP-Meiji.co.ltd, Thailand
Manngan celebrates a midsommar Copenhagen Christmas on stage, free-pouring a jolly Santa Claus and a moose. The designer latte is an adorable snow man “Snow Boy” with a carrot-nose colored with an orange dye.
Manuela Fensore (She/Her) World Latte Art & Coffee Center, Italy
Fensore delights judges with latte art and poetry. “In the savannah behind the trees, lives a giraffe so nice in the breeze, with the neck so long she arrives so high, finding snacks so close to the sky!” Fensore free-pours a giraffe and a fox and etches an elephant carrying a basket of apples, highlighted with a red dye.
Yi-Chen Xie (He/Him) 啡Style cafe & 咖啡教學, Taiwan
Yi-Chen Xie’s presentation highlights “the king of the ocean, king of the land, and the king of the sky.” Free pours features artistic interpretations of a blue whale and a moose. The designer drink featured a dragon with black dye.
Guoqiang Liu (He/Him) Hexagon Coffee Trading Ltd., Co, China
Guoqiang Liu offers a lesson in latte art theory in the finals round at the World Latte Art Championship—Liu emphasized the importance of visual light balance in latte art, and has been perfecting original designs for over four years. Liu free-poured a squirrel on a branch, a flying eagle, and etched a lion.
Dario Pieber (He/Him) Rent a Barista GmbH, Switzerland
Dario Pieber of Rent a Barista GmbH in Switzerland spent twenty hours a week perfecting his signature pours for the 2024 World Latte Art Championship. Pieber competes creating free-pour renditions of “Super Mario” and “African Lion” as well as a designer/etched “Puss in Boots”.
